Hey guys what gong on?

Well since the site was done, I have been dragging, I have been going to the gym, but for some reason I don’t have any energy sometimes. Other times I fell like hell yea…bring it on!!!

My diet is as follows, and I will start on Monday Dec 14.

1.3 whole eggs, orange or banana, with a wheat bread and water
2. Handful of almonds
3. Chicken with broccoli and tomato or
Can tuna, broccoli and tomato or
Chicken, rice, tomato
4. Celery with peanut butter
5. Chicken with veggies
6. Big spoon of Cottage Cheese

As for the workout I am going to a full body workout Mon, Wed, and Fri, right after the workout I will do 30 minutes of cardio. On Tue and Thur, I will try my best to do an hour long cardio…

I am going today to the gym, just to loosen up the joints...

No, I'm saying you are spending WAY to much time doing cardio and asking why you seem to not want to do HIIT. It's pretty well documented that short intense bouts of cardio are more effective, and therefore more efficient, then long slow/moderately paced sessions. And what happened to the Abs diet?

Listen, what is important is that you are doing something. It seems like when you try to do what I suggest you don't stick with it for very long so if doing this gets you consistantly working out then do this. Right now doing the most effective or efficient thing isn't important, forming the habit is.

Thanks Bigs for the help. Its just I get so easily bored with doing the same exercises all the time. And don’t get me wrong I LOVE THE PROGRAM YOU GAVE ME, AND I THANK YOU A LOT FOR IT.

I meet a long time friend at the gym yesterday; he just graduated with a major in Kinesiology. So we were talking for a while, he asked me what program I was on (heavy weights with low reps (5-6)). Told him all the stuff and that I get bored really fast.

I showed him the routine that I am going, (Sorry Bigs I changed it again (Mon, Wed, Fri upper, Tues, Thur, lower)). He told me that instead of heavy weights try doing light weights 15-20 reps. so he gave me this plan. Mon, Fri, upper body 3 sets of 15-20 reps, Tue and Thru lower body, with cardio before the workout. I asked him that I have read magazines, and people have told me that to do heavy sets, low reps, and cardio after.
He said that is for gaining size, not for losing weight. Now if I really think about it, any exercise will help you lose some weight, if it is heavy or light weight. Right??

I am just so very confused about everything, I know that my weight will not leave over night, and that I wont fit in to those size 34-36 pants, and cant buy those nice large shirts, because all the x-large shirts are already taken. Everything takes time.

As for the ABS diet, I’ve hears very mixed reviews about it.

And I still don’t know what program I will follow right now…

Thanks guys, I really just needed to vent right now, sorry if I took it out on you guys…

My only advice would be to ease into it a little more. You're never motivated and you're always bored, because these workouts are long and boring. How could you possibly get motivated for 60 minutes of cardio or a full body workout that probably takes close to an hour followed by another 30 minutes of cardio? These could be the best workouts ever created, but if you get bored and don't do them they aren't doing you any good.

Start small, short workouts a couple times a week just exercises that you like. Search around the internet and find different out of the ordinary workouts. You could pick up an issue of Men's Health, every issue has a pull out poster with a workout on it. The workouts are always different from a normal workout with some exercises or variations of exercises you've probably never done before. Get yourself into the habit of working out for a month or two before you try and dive into something more regimented. Plan out your week ahead of time. Tell yourself "I'm going to exercise Monday, Wednesday and Friday". Then do it. It doesn't matter what you do, just do something. Then build on that. There's no reason to rush, just work on building the habit.

Same thing with your diet. Sure, eating chicken, broccoli and cottage cheese will help you lose weight but it's boring and the lack of variety really isn't that healthy. Again, it could be the greatest diet in the world but if you get bored with it and stray from it, what good is it doing? While I do have some issues with the abs diet, mainly that it's high in carbs, I would suggest trying it. It is very easy to follow, the meals taste very good, it will get you eating a large variety of healthy foods and it will teach you how to incorporate these foods into your diet when you are ready to move on.

It's great to want to jump in with both feet right away, but if you aren't sticking to these plans they aren't helping no matter how great they are. You can't make yourself be motivated, you have to become motivated.

Hey guys, guess who…

Well im sorry for being absent for a long time. I was going to the gym, when I got hurt again. It was my lower day, and I was doing 45 degree leg press (180lbs), which I think I was doing it right, and I have done this weight before. So when I got home and went to poop, I think I got another hemorrhoid. I started to put some cream that my dr gave me when I had the other one early last year. Now I know that I am doing something wrong with the way I am doing these exercises. As of right now I fell a lot better and I think im not a person of doing heavy weight, (that is my opinion).

I was on bodybuilding.com, and I am going to try to do light weight with high reps. This is my plan, and I will stick to this http://www.bodybu...9-fat-loss , as for the diet, I also want to it there style.

Kewl, I was just reading about you being bored with food. I am sometimes the same, but today after I got a good deal on Chicken breast I cooked it and pored some Roasted Garlic pasta sauce on it and, yes, suddenly I wanted to eat the whole thing, I just didn't.

White potato is another. It is generally a low cost item, but gets bloody standard quickly. I look forward to it more by adding a little olive oil, which is a good thing to have daily anyway.

I finally got avast happening for the windows side of my machine, I thought the Exclamation mark was supposed to be pronounced as an I.

Hey guys, whats up!!!

I have been doing well with my food. I have completely cut out junk food (chips, soda, candies, and such). I am trying really hard to eat 5-6 times a day, sometimes when I forget I get mad at my self, so this weekend im going to buy a watch and set the alarm to remind me to eat the snack. I have been working long hours at work, so I wake up early (5am), and have a mile walk in the neighborhood. Right after I have a shake.

Diet
1. One scoop of whey with water, 3 eggs, slice of bacon, one wheat bread
2. Celery stick with peanut butter
3. Chicken or Tuna, with veggies (corn, green beans, lima beans) or (broccoli, carrots)
4. Small apple
5. Chicken salad, (spinach, tomato, cucumber, lemon juice)
6. a big scoop of cottage cheese.

I have lost some muscle I won’t lie about that. The days I do go to the gym, I try to do a full body workout, since im not going everyday. I am doing light weight with high sets (no more than 15).

Dumbbell bench
Dumbbell Incline bench
Dumbbell fly’s
Seated shoulder press
Lat raise
Shrugs (heavy set)
Lat pull down
Leg press
Calf raises

Then a good 20 minutes of HIIT. 5 minute warm-up 30 sec of level 6 and 30 sec of level 2, on the stepper, for 10 minutes, then a 5 min cool down.
