I don't. BUT make sure he gives everything to you STRAIGHT. Make sure you understand everything he says. Pick his brain down to every last detail.

I am seeing an MD physio tomorrow. Does anyone wonder anything to hit the doc with while I am at it?

this one is bothersome, as are reports of late that Canadian soldiers have on occasion killed civilians. Of course it is hard sometimes to distinguish one from another but there are renewed calls to coordinate forces against the Taliban. they will just be glad the crusaders have scewed up again and support might shift towards them.

Canada's mission there is over at the end of this year, something like that, and I am doubting evermore that we can really stabilize the country.

Some of the language the Afghan miinistry uses is interesting:

“Besides expressing heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs, the Afghan Defence Ministry is condemning this incident,”

they are referred to as martyrs, and this might be bothersome.

I am posting this link not so much for the story, but check out the reader comments at the end. There is beginning to be an overcurrent believing in the futility of this.

What does anyone else think?

To be honest, I'm not sure I fully understood half of that article... and I did read the comments, for which I find a bit annoying. No offense, to anyone who may disagree with any military stance. I think it was the 4th comment down, where as, someone placed on the table, "Why can't these fully equipped armies do a "simple" thing as eliminating the Taliban?" The general population, on the outside, doesn't evaluate the processes of perpetrator(s) who are using the general population, in the purpotrators area/location.

The first comment, asking about having 'peace talks' was ridiculous. There are rules that are followed in some military & countries, not others, therefore resulting in the failure of a 'peace talks' or the idea of such things.
